 Post subject: Small clear snails all over my rocks, are they safe?

I just looked at my tank after the lights have been off for two hours. The tank has been up and running for over a year. I have seen the snails before but only one or two and months in between. I have seen my mini brittle stars releasing eggs and sperm a few times which is a good indicator to me that the tank is healthy. Has anyone had any experience with these pinhead snail? Pest or breeding?
