I got this tank used almost two years ago, It was my first tank with a sump, which made me nervous, yet excited all at the same time. After a lot of research and testing I decided to basically scrap everything but the glass and stand. Here is a quick refreshment of the past two years.

Started it up and shut it down, I hated the trickle filter and the color of the stand

Refinishing the stand while the new sump is being made

New sump is here

Drilled the tank for a closed loop, plumbed everything, while I made a Canopy

Filled it up

Too Hot and continuously blew the breaker when the Halides came on

Sold the VHOs and Halides, got LEDs

Couldn't stand the shadow effect from the center brace. I drained the tank and performed surgery

It worked out nice!

I can tell you this, It was a long ride and enjoyed it. I learned a lot in a short period of time, and you can't take a picture worth a crap with LEDs, especially with a iPhone.

Thanks for looking
