| Post subject: | MY 125 GALLON FLIP |
I got this tank used almost two years ago, It was my first tank with a sump, which made me nervous, yet excited all at the same time. After a lot of research and testing I decided to basically scrap everything but the glass and stand. Here is a quick refreshment of the past two years. Started it up and shut it down, I hated the trickle filter and the color of the stand ![]() Refinishing the stand while the new sump is being made ![]() New sump is here ![]() Drilled the tank for a closed loop, plumbed everything, while I made a Canopy ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Filled it up ![]() Too Hot and continuously blew the breaker when the Halides came on ![]() ![]() Sold the VHOs and Halides, got LEDs ![]() ![]() Couldn't stand the shadow effect from the center brace. I drained the tank and performed surgery ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() It worked out nice! ![]() ![]() A year later ![]() I can tell you this, It was a long ride and enjoyed it. I learned a lot in a short period of time, and you can't take a picture worth a crap with LEDs, especially with a iPhone. Thanks for looking |
