I updated my lighting from a 220 watt compact fluorescent to a 716 watt dual DE MH and T5 light with LED moons. This is over my 60 gallon reef. I love the color of the T5 actinics, but not too happy yet with the 14K MH. They are just too white, and unfortunately too bright. I think I just got greedy! Maybe I can swap out 14K with 20K MH? Still bright but at least more blue.
Will post some pics to illustrate. Some of my corals are suffering. May need to reevaluate this light. Possibly sell/trade for another one.
Suggestion?
