So a buddy of mine has an orbiculate batfish in his 65 hex tank that hes thinking about getting rid of. I know they need really big tanks but right now its only about 4 - 5 inches tall. I was thinking about getting it from him for my 54 corner. My tank is only slightly shallower than his but has more horizontal swimming area. I figured I might grab it up if it wont eat my corals or anything and just keep it for a little while. Normally I wouldnt even consider a fish that needs this much tank size but my tank has a way better filtration system than his and in the long run the fish would probably be healthier in my tank.
