What's up guys, been a hectic weekend. Went to MAX and had a blast! There were a lot of vendors, selling and showing off some of their new products and such. There were a few booths I was particularly impressed by, the first being Reef Brite. Originally I just went to take pictures for a friends blog but then I was captivated by a metal halide light that was barely warm to the touch and it had been on all day. They also had their twin-arc MH bulbs showing off in the MH with two supplemental LED's...the LED's were hotter than the MH pendant! Pretty awesome! A few other I enjoyed were Blue Life USA, Coralgasm, Gonzo Corals, Karen Talbot and of course ReefKoi and Evolution LED's. My uncle purchased two Evolution LED light strips for his freshwater planted tank, it makes everything so much more bright and vivid, really great lights!

They had a lot of great raffle items including a frag tank. There was an entire children's section including drawing stations, sword fighting with Captain Jack Sparrow, a paper air plane contest, and a touch tank including a ray. Everyone was very nice, I met a lot of really good people, I was able to get my pops a Karen Talbot picture of a king salmon...it's a really great and detailed picture, she's extremely talented! There were a lot of great deals on livestock, a peek at Digital Aquatics new Lifegaurd system, Cad light aquariums had a really nice booth with some great looking tanks, nano and larger, featuring their LED's and new multi-chip LED's. Aqua Medic, Kordon, Sicce lighting and many many other vendors were there displaying their products and services. Blue Life USA, Gonzo Corals and Coralgasm were my favorite booths, really great and knowledgeable people, very friendly and willing to bullshit with ya for a bit and get to know the people behind the hobby. It was great to be in a room with so many people that share the same passion as I do!

All around it was a very good time and I'm glad I was able to go both days. Next up for me, Reef-a-palooza. Maybe one day I'll be able to make it out to MACNA.

I'll be posting a lot of pictures for you guys!

Here's all the pictures from MAX that I took including some frags I got.
