Okay, so there's been a bit of debate happening on Facebook right now about the impact of Finding Nemo has, whether it's positive or negative...I'd like to know your guys' opinion on this. I think Disney/Pixar, should take at least a bit of responsibility in educating and raising awareness for our marine friends and wildlife. At the very least I think they should at least educate children about the impact litter has on the ocean and maybe throw a few more facts at them showing how important the ocean is to the survival of the human race. I know it doesn't really have anything to do with that but the younger children learn this kind of stuff the more of a positive impact they can make when they're older to this world instead of being like my generation and not really caring about anything. That's just my .02 and movies and TV shows like Tanked really make me cringe because they don't focus enough on what's important, it's all imagine and not enough education. |
